Voting Information

2008 General Election:  Tuesday, November 4th

IMPORTANT:  Voter turnout is expected to be very high this year.  To avoid long lines on election day, consider voting early at:

Salt Lake County Clerk's Office
2001 South State Street, South Building, Room S1002
Weekdays, Oct. 13 - Nov. 3 (8:00 am - 5:00 pm)
Saturdays Oct. 25 and Nov. 1 (10:00 am - 3:00 pm)

Draper City Hall or Sandy City Hall
Weekdays, Oct. 21 - Oct. 31
12:00 noon until 7:00 pm (Noon - 5:00 on Halloween)

To vote early, you must show valid voter identification.

Note:  The voter registration deadline for the general election has now passed.

You may register to vote at the County Clerk's office or at satellite locations on October 4th.

Information on voter registration is available from the county clerk's office.

Have you moved?  Make sure you've changed your voter registration.  You need to vote in the precinct in which you live for your vote to count.

Early voting is a relatively new option for Utah voters. View the information on dates and locations at the Salt Lake County Clerk's website.

Are you interested in voting by mail?  Fill out the Permanent Vote by Mail Application, and you'll get your ballot in the mail every year.  More information is available from the Salt Lake County Clerk.

See if you live in Utah House District 51.

Check your voter registration and your polling location by typing in your Salt Lake County address.
